The program is currently hosted at Deer Park Institute
Deer Park is located in Bir Colony, Chowgan Village, in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh in North India. Bir lies roughly midway between Dharamsala and Mandi, about a 2-hour drive from McLeod Ganj in the state of Himachal Pradesh in North India.
The campus includes three teaching halls that students may also use for daily practice, as well as a library with a collection of more than 5,000 books in English, Hindi, and Tibetan.
Students are welcome to stay in the accommodation provided on campus or arrange their own housing nearby. They may also choose which meals to take on campus and which to have outside.
Deer Park provides the following options for accommodation:

For those who prefer outside accommodation, there are many guesthouses and rooms for rent within walking distance. Deer Park can provide some recommendations or you are welcome to find your own.
The Deer Park kitchen provides healthy and delicious vegetarian meals three times per day.
There are also a number of restaurants in cafes in the area. Participants may choose to take their meals at Deer Park or dine outside, provided they inform the kitchen at least three hours in advance.
Overnight buses leave daily from Delhi to Bir and take approximately 12-hours
There are several direct flights each morning between Delhi and Dharamsala (Gaggal Airport). From Gaggal Airport is an approximately 90-minute drive to Deer Park.
There are several train options between Delhi and Pathankot or Amb Andaura. From both stations, Bir is about 4-hours by taxi.
Taxis take approximately 2-hours.
There is a direct local bus to Bir from Dharamsala at around 1-2pm every day, operated by Anurag Travels (3-4 hours). It returns from Bir Colony to Dharamsala at 7:45am. Please confirm the times at the bus stand because this information is subject to change. Otherwise, change at Palampur and/or Baijnath. From Baijnath there are frequent local buses to Upper Bir – they will drop you at Chowgan crossroads, from where it is a 1km walk to Bir Colony, where Deer Park is located. Local buses bound for Jogindernagar or Mandi/Kullu can also drop you at Bir Road junction, from where you can get a taxi (Rs.200).
