Registration Now Open for the Distance Learning Program
NOVEMBER 4, 2025
to JANUARY 17, 2026
We are pleased to announce that the Serkong Institute for Buddhist Studies is now offering a distance learning program
This distance learning program is designed for those who wish to participate in the 4-year program but are unable to join this module in-person. While in-person learning is essential for this method of study, this distance learning option serves as a bridge, covering essential material to equip participants for joining subsequent modules in person.
Debate is at the core of this program. Most participants will have completed the previous module and trained in debate, so new participants will ideally have some background in Nalanda Debate.
Join twice-weekly live Zoom practice sessions with a senior student:
Tuesdays: 8:30 pm-10:00 IST (4:00 PM CET / 10:00AM EST)
& Saturdays: 8:30 pm-10:00 IST (4:00 PM CET / 10:00 AM EST)
AND five 1.5-hour Pramanavartika classes & five 1-hour Lorig classes each week to watch at any time that suits you within the week
